Our Last Reunion

    Our last reunion, hosted by our Past President Jim Putney and his wife Maureen, assisted by Jan Carruth  was held at the Constitution Inn (YMCA) at the old Boston Navy Yard. 74 people attended this reunion including 32 who served on board during the 50's and 1 who served on board during World War II.

    Activities included among other things: A Trolley Tour of Boston, our Memorial Service was held on board the USS Cassin Young, a dinner cruise on board the "Lexington" along with a 3 hour cruise around Boston Harbor, a pizza party during the business meeting, a lot of time in the Hospitality room and sight seeing around Boston.

Our Next Reunion

Our 2010 reunion will be held in May at The Hampton Inn in  Pensacola Beach, FL and will be hosted by our President Don McDowell assisted by Sid and Pat Gilbreath. Detailed information will be posted in our November newsletter or by contacting us by mail, email or phone.

Our 2011 Reunion

Our 2011 reunion will be held in May at the Marriott Hotel in Newport News, VA and will be hosted by our Vice President/Secretary George Bauersfeld who will be assisted by Carole Sonneborn who has years of reunion and travel planning experience.

 Information to follow soon as some of the plans are made.
